When I got the call from Tracy-Locke Los Angeles asking me to head up the Taco Bell account here in LA I had my doubts. I would be leaving my family, my friends and my love/hate relationship with the Chicago Bears. But I knew in my heart that if I said no I would always regret it.

It paid off. My winning campaign for Taco Bell had everyone and their hermano “Running for the Border”. It not only put Taco Bell in the same league as the other fast food chains, it made them a real contender. Then when they ran for the next agency, I ran to Dailey.

The first assignment was to “Change the way you think about Gallo”. Not an easy task but in one year Gallo White Zinfindel became a popular choice for even the best dinner parties. Our “Ingredients for Life" campaign for Safeway is as successful today as it was eight years ago. Whoever the client, I always push for the kind of fresh ideas that win and keep accounts.

Since leaving Dailey I’ve been the go-to writer at Fraser Communications. I’m especially proud of our First 5 California work. This fully integrated  campaign focusing on early brain development is having a real impact. In just a few weeks our "Talk.Read.SIng." message reached over 45,000 parents and caregivers. Today it's in the millions. First5California.com/parents receives about 4,300 hits a day.

Fraser's commitment to socially responsible advertising has allowed me to help empower low-income parents, give real hope to our homeless veterans and remind people that Aids is still a threat. This experience has been invaluable.
